i want to rent a houseboat on seneca lake for about $1,000.? me and my family want to rent a houseboat for about 4 days in upstate new york or around that. we'd like to keep the driving to eight hours or less. Chesapeake Bay. Houseboat Rentals? Do you know of any Houseboat Rentals on the Bay? Is there another type of boat commonly used for sleeping in that is rented? I see them on Lakes all the time, but I haven't seen anything in this region. Regular power boats aren't big enough or usually rented overnight.

How does one begin the process of buying property in another country? I've recently become interested in the possibiltiy of buying a houseboat in Amsterdam and subdividing it into two or more vacation rental apartments. I found some private listing and the cost, depending on the individual houseboat, isn't totally prohibitive. My main question is how do I find a reputable realty company or broker in another country (specifically Amsterdam, Holland)? And do I apply for financing in my own country, the country of the purchase, or some other type of financial institution? Thank you in advance for any helpful info!

Laughlin Camp Grounds? I'm looking for a couple options in Laughlin Nevada where I can camp for about a week. I am planning on taking a few jet skis up to the river and hope to find a place to rent a houseboat. I am not having the best of luck finding good descriptions of sites or pictures of sites. Also, I wanted to go towards the end of August (next month) and I know places that require reservations might be hard to come by. Any suggestions for outside of Vegas? I've been to vegas a few times and would like to spend time outside of the strip, a time to sit back and relax, maybe have a bbq, but not be on a camp ground. We bought a investment house in 2007, if we buy a primary residence this year can we qualify for the $8k cred? When my husband and I bought a house in 2007, and we thought we were going to live there, but instead, we rented it out, so we never lived there a single day. Now, we are looking to buy a two-family primary residence along with with my parents. Can my husband and I still claim the 2009 first-time home-buyer tax credit? The three issues I'm trying to understand are: 1. We just bought a house in 2007. But, we never lived there, and always kept a separate primary residence. We also claimed the rental income on our tax return every year. 2. We're buying the new house with my parents. I plan to be on the title with them, but my parents own the house they're currently living in. I've read that if you buy a house jointly, the and the other owner doesn't qualify, while you do, you can claim the entire credit. I don't know. 3. It's a multi-family house (two families). I've read that single-family, condos, coop and houseboats qualify, but am not sure about multi-family homes. Thanks in advance for your advice! Any recommendations on a campground at Lake Powell? We are thinking of taking a weekend camping trip to Lake Powell. I've been trying to find out about campsites online, but most of the stuff I find is for RV's and houseboat rentals. We just wanted to bring our truck and a tent and camp outside.
