You're looking at around 50k for the rental for the day... another 10 - 15k for catering... open bar (top shelf) 2k... Give or take a few thousand... also depends on what time of year. I think it might be better to ask the event planners of the actual space this question...

Wow - I would guess at least $100/per person if not more. Thats a lot of money for a reception.
What a delight to find this question. I was married at the boathouse in central park on 11/05, and it's the most beautifil place. We were lucky to find an available date 4 mths prior to the wedding. It was 150 a head including open bar + NYC tax, another $1000 for the ceremony space so it's probably higher now. They do a great job, and the main guy Peter is very professional and you'll be in good hands. Go there for dinner and make sure to take the trolley. They may be setting up for a wedding on the weekend and ask for Peter. I have to tell you, in NYC your looking to be paying a lot more on a Saturday night, so Sunday may be affordable. Our ceremony was at 5:30 pm right there on the lake, very romantic.
