2. You can go on the Mississippi river, too. This place is in Iowa, they say they're 270 miles from Chicago. http://www.ssboatrentals.com/home.html
3. Starved Rock Marina in Utica, about 2 hrs SW of Chicago, beautiful scenery on that part of the Illinois River.
4. LACROSS AT ST CROIX.
